Effective Reproduction Rate (Rt):  0.80 Arizona, as of 8/15

Note: Rt is the average number of people who become infected by an infectious person.  If it is above 1.0, COVID-19 will spread quickly. If it is below 1.0, infections will slow. 

 

Test Positivity Ratios: 

Cases to PCR Tests | 6.0%, previous day 9.7%

Cases to All Tests | 5.4%, previous day 8.5%

ELR PCR Cases to ELR PCR Tests | 5.9%

 

Hospital Assets In-Use:  

Acute Care Beds:  81%, down from yesterday’s 83%

ICU Beds:  80%, up from yesterday’s 78%

Ventilators:  33%, unchanged from yesterday
