Effective Reproduction Rate (Rt):  0.75 Arizona, as of 8/24 - previous rate was 0.76

Note: Rt is the average number of people who become infected by an infectious person.  If it is above 1.0, COVID-19 will spread quickly. If it is below 1.0, infections will slow. 

 

Test Positivity Ratios: 

Cases to PCR Tests | 17.3%, previous day 4.9%

Cases to All Tests | 15.8%, previous day 4.1%

7 Day ELR PCR Cases to ELR PCR Tests | 5.5% previous day 4.7%

 

Hospital Assets In-Use:  

Acute Care Beds:  81%, down from yesterday’s 83%

ICU Beds:  77%, down from yesterday’s 79%

Ventilators:  29%, up from yesterday’s 28%
