Effective Reproduction Rate (Rt):  0.84 Arizona, as of 8/26 - previous rate was 0.88

Note: Rt is the average number of people who become infected by an infectious person.  If it is above 1.0, COVID-19 will spread quickly. If it is below 1.0, infections will slow. 

 

Test Positivity Ratios: 

Cases to PCR Tests | 8.5%, previous day 4.0%

Cases to All Tests | 7.5%, previous day 3.5%

7 Day ELR PCR Cases to ELR PCR Tests | 5.8% previous day 4.7%

 

Hospital Assets In-Use:  

Acute Care Beds: 83% unchanged from yesterday

ICU Beds:  80%, up from yesterday’s 79%

Ventilators:  31%, up from yesterday’s 29%
