Effective Reproduction Rate (Rt):  0.87 Arizona, as of 8/27 - previous rate was 0.84

Note: Rt is the average number of people who become infected by an infectious person.  If it is above 1.0, COVID-19 will spread quickly. If it is below 1.0, infections will slow. 

 

Test Positivity Ratios: 

Cases to PCR Tests | 5.7%, previous day 8.5%

Cases to All Tests | 4.8%, previous day 7.5%

7 Day ELR PCR Cases to ELR PCR Tests | 3.8% previous day 5.8%

 

Hospital Assets In-Use:  

Acute Care Beds: 84% up from yesterday’s 83%

ICU Beds:  79%, down from yesterday’s 80%

Ventilators:  30%, down from yesterday’s 31%
