GOODMAN SCHWARTZ PUBLIC AFFAIRS
ARIZONA COVID-19 DAILY UPDATE
October 18, 2021
Vol. 4, No. 10
______________________________________________
When Goodman Schwartz Public Affairs suspended the Daily Update in June 2021, after 14 months of uninterrupted publications, we did so based on several factors including, but not limited to, decreasing positivity rates, low daily positive cases and deaths and declining readership among those receiving the update.
Like so many, we were optimistic that with declining cases and hospitalizations, along with the COVID-19 vaccine being readily available throughout Arizona, the worst was behind us. Unfortunately, with the surge of the delta variant, the firm has decided to begin re-publishing the Daily Update (albeit weekly), as we want to finish what we started and continue to provide this information as a public service.
As public health conditions and circumstances warrant, we look forward to arriving at another crossroad when we can consider, once again, suspending or otherwise unsetting the Daily Update.
